Today I attended a Social Media Event held at the headquarters of my employer, Plan Administrators, Inc. (PAi). We were celebrating and announcing the $10,000.00 visionary sponsorship that PAi gave to the De Pere Chamber of Commerce for the Bridges to Business Program. I am on the steering committee for this program, which connects students with businesses reaching out to help our youth embrace the diversity of business and helping them to choose business as a career. Today we also announced the inaugural Bridges to Business High School iOMe Challenge that challenges high school kids to take a look at their personal financial futures and begin to set in motion any individual and community actions necessary to create the BEST POSSIBLE FUTURE for us all. You can view more details here:
I am honored to be driving both of these projects. They will have tremendous impact in our state! Local TV Channel 2 and members of the press attended the event along with
Rasmussen College, Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, along with the Mayor of De Pere, Michael Walsh and the President of the De Pere Chamber, Cheryl Detrick.

Today I spent the day at the St. Baldrick's Foundation event - Shaving the Way to Conquer Kids' Cancer! Our mayor, Jim Schmidt, starting off the event by doing the first head shaving. I helped raise money by letting little girls be "queens"; they put my crown on their head and I took a picture for them to take home as a keepsake. One little girl named Keisha wanted to have her picture taken with the crown before and after her head shaving. What a beautiful gift she gave!! It was an incredibly rewarding time for me and my family. My children donated money by having their hair sprayed different colors. You can read more about the event here:
